Jean joined SV Health Investors in 2025 and is an Associate in the DDF team.
Prior to joining SV, he was a Biotech and Pharma Analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, where he led coverage on emerging biopharma companies across neurodegeneration, neuropsychiatry, and rare diseases. In this role, he built global market models for clinical stage therapeutics by integrating clinical, regulatory, and commercial insights to provide strategic guidance to institutional investors.
Jean received a PhD in Neuroscience from Weill Cornell Medicine, where he investigated neurobiological mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders as an NIH-NIDA T32 Predoctoral Fellow and NIH-NIAAA R01 Supplement Awardee, leading to publications in high impact journals including Nature Communications.
Outside of SV, Jean enjoys photography and hiking.
