Kate brings 24 years of finance and accounting experience to SV. She rejoined SV in 2022 as Finance Director focusing on finance, accounting and operational matters for the firm. She was previously in the Controller role at SV until 2008.
Prior to rejoining SV, Kate was Director of Finance at Evans Capital and has held various senior finance roles at Prospect Hill Growth Partners, J.W. Childs Associates, Yellow Wood Partners, Windspeed Ventures. She has also worked as a financial consultant for Third Rock Ventures and General Metabolics. Kate was a Senior Associate in the Assurance Practice at Arthur Andersen LLP, where she became a Certified Public Accountant. Her clients included many early-stage venture backed technology and biotech companies.
Outside of SV, Kate serves on the board of Winchester Youth Hockey. She and her husband Joe are raising their five children in Winchester.
