Susan Kohlhaas is Director of Research at Alzheimer’s Research UK where she oversees the charity’s research strategy and programme, including strategic initiatives. She has a PhD in cancer biology from the University of Leicester and completed postdoctoral work in the field of immunology at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge.
Susan’s previous roles in the charitable sector include; most recently Executive Director of Research and External Affairs at the MS Society where she set up a large scale clinical trials programme, and Head of Strategy and Initiatives at the National Cancer Research Institute where developed and launched several new initiatives in the cancer field.
